Privacy policy

UpgradeXAI (“we”) is based in NSW, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through upgradexai.com.au, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Audit requests: your name, work email, business name and what you tell us about your admin. These are emailed to our team.
AI chat: the details you enter to start a chat (such as name, phone, email, industry and team size) and the conversation. These are stored in our database and the conversation is processed by our AI provider to write replies.
Time check and calculator: your answers stay in your browser. They are only sent to us if you choose to book an audit with them filled in.
Usage data: if you accept cookies, analytics and advertising tools record pages viewed and actions such as clicking a button or sending a request.

Cookies, analytics and advertising tags

Nothing beyond what the site needs to work is loaded until you choose in the cookie banner. “Analytics” lets us see how the site is used. “Accept all” also allows advertising tags that measure our ads and let us show ads to people who have visited. Depending on what we run, these may include Google Analytics and Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit and X.

We never send your name, email, phone number or form answers to these platforms. They may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies, including outside Australia.

How we use your information

To reply to you and run the audit you asked for.
To answer your questions in the AI chat.
To improve the site and measure our advertising, if you agreed.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the site and our services, including website hosting and database (Google Firebase), email delivery and an AI model provider for the chat. Some of these store or process data outside Australia.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@upgradexai.com.au. If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
